Choosing the ‘Simply Elope’ option, they went for a minimalist vibe – me as their celebrant and Romana capturing the magic behind the lens. It was clear from the get-go that Eleanor and Matt’s priority was making this day as cruisey as possible. Contrary to tradition, the Bride arrived before the Groom – super keen but also with the intention to mingle a bit and to provide the music.

Before the official ceremony began, the Eleanor and Matt, who aren’t big on public displays, had a special private moment to exchange their personal vows. No guests, no cameras – just the two of them sharing their hearts without the pressure of being watched.

Despite the casual approach, they still wanted a classic ceremony setup. The bridal party brought their own sense of style – the three groomsmen looked sharp in dark suits, while Eleanor’s three besties wore flowery printed dresses that reflected each of their personalities. And although the Grooms Grandpa couldn’t make it due to health reasons, a seat was lovingly saved for him.

The ceremony itself was simple, just as requested. Eleanor and Matt couldn’t stop smiling at each other, sneaking in giggles here and there, and keeping things real and lighthearted. When the moment came to exchange their legal vows, they kept it short, sweet, and to the point. With rings in hand, “Wear this ring, think of me and know that I love you.”

It was a morning celebrations were a perfect reflection of Eleanor and Matt as a couple. A day that felt more like a joyful gathering of close friends and family rather than a high-pressure wedding, just the way they wanted it. #youdoyou
