Simply perfect for Jazzmine and Jason's micro wedding at the historic Newstead Park Rotunda, Brisbane
Written by Cheryl Landsberry Celebrant / Photos by Romana Saeheng
Jazzmin and Jason had been to a few weddings, and they knew what they DIDN’T want for their own wedding. They didn’t want fanfare, fuss, extravagance or drama.
The couple approached the team at Elope Brisbane and asked for a quiet, intimate, genuine and relaxed ceremony with just their immediate family.
They booked the rotunda at Newstead Park on the Brisbane River via the Brisbane City Council web site, so were assured of the use of this area.
Stylist Mel from Miss Weddings placed white Americana chairs in the gazebo and assembled a timber arch with white fabric draping. Michelle from Little Miss Flower Shoppe provided the florals for the arbour, Jazzmin’s bouquet, and Jason’s boutonniere.
No wedding is quite complete without one, so Cakes by Simone provided a small cake for the guests to enjoy after the lunchtime reception.
Celebrant Cheryl Landsberry – Marriage Celebrant led the couple through the legal vows and witnessed them sign the three marriage certificates.
After the ceremony, photographer Romana Saeheng Photography and Graphic Design snapped relaxed photos of the couple around Newstead Park and the Brisbane River.
