Mid-Week ’20 is Plenty’ Fairytale Wedding for Shawn & Megan

Shawn & Megan’s beautiful mid-week wedding was nothing short of a fairytale.  They chose to tie the knot with Elope Brisbane’s ’20 is plenty’ package and it was perfect – small, intimate and sooo easy!!

Held at the picturesque Palm Tree Lawn at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens at the foot of Mt Coot-Tha, surrounded by nature, the ceremony area was styled by Miss Weddings with an elegant arbour as the backdrop.  It was stunning.

The ceremony lawn also offers an amazing yet subtle aisle, that circles around allowing guests, and of course the groom, to savour every moment of the Bride entrance.  Megan looked absolutely gorgeous in her dress… and Dad… well there were a few tears let’s say.

The ceremony was simple, just the way they wanted.  It was inclusive, engaging and heartfelt.  Shawn’s Mum joined us from America through the wonders of technology and we all gave her a wave.

The loved-up couple just couldn’t take their eyes off each other.  There were a few nervous giggles but these were soon overcome as they exchanged their legal vows of marriage, followed by their wedding rings and then sealed with a kiss.

Following the signing, the Newly-Weds walked back down the aisle through a sprinkling of rose petals and a roar of celebratory cheers.

Once the group and family photo’s were taken, Romana whisked the happy couple off around the gardens for their Bridal shots.  Again, truly magical.  The essence of the day caught perfectly.
