The Mt Coot Tha Botanical gardens are an amazing spot wed. And you do not have to go far for amazing photographs after you say “I do”.
This parkland does attract council fees for weddings, particularly if you want a number of guests and ceremony styling. Council do work hard for that fee though – the grounds-people sign your booked space and ensure it is perfect for you on the day! The lawns are mint and they even scoop up the duck poo lol!
The min booking is 2 hours, this is usually all you need and the total charge (at time of publishing) is $199.60 (inc gst) per hour or part thereof applies (minimum 2 hours required – $399.20 (inc gst). Electricity use fee (only available with designated booking site): a $28.95 (inc gst) non-refundable fee applies, along with a $110.00 (gst free) refundable key bond.

If you are eloping, with no guests, or just a few witnesses and no ceremony styling, then a booking is not required. But you will need to be flexible with your exact elopement location at the parkland.
