Deadman’s Headland Reserve is dog friendly and possibly the most accessible spot of the island to marry (and still capture that incredible vista).

Deadman’s Beach is dog friendly and a fairly easy beach to get to either via a gentle slope or via stairs.

Home Beach
Home Beach is dog friendly and if accessed from the far Eastern car park near the Straddie Hotel, so easy to get to!

South Gorge - Main Beach
South Gorge – Main Beach is a little bit harder to access, but it feels very private (on a weekday)… a stunning spot, but heavily impacted by Cyclone Alfred. So currently bookings for this stop are being moved to alternative beaches.

Pub Cove
Pub Cove is a great spot for those who are staying at the Straddie Beach Hotel or celebrating there afterwards… just a walk down the stairs from the hotel to access this beach. Note: This beach was also impacted by Cyclone Alfred – and currently has a pool of water, stagnant at the bottom of the stairs. Bookings for this beach are currently being relocated further down the beach.

Cyclinder Beach - West Beach
Cylinder Beach – West beach is another great spot for those who are staying at the Straddie Beach Hotel or celebrating there afterwards… just a walk down the stairs from the hotel to access this beach. Not advisable for guests who struggle with stairs and beach walks.

The Lighthouse Cleveland
The Lighthouse at Cleveland is a popular location for wedding ceremonies. With 300 degree water views and the historic lighthouse, this spot offers so much!

GJ Walter Park
GJ Walter Park is a great spot, particularly for couples who are celebrating at the Grand View Hotel afterwards. A short drive or little walk up the hill for guests to get to cocktail hour. Dog friendly with a dog park nearby. An easy car park as well.
