The Moreton Bay Fig: Our absolute favorite spot here is under the massive, sprawling Moreton Bay Fig tree. It provides a natural cathedral ceiling of greenery and a timeless, “old-world” romantic feel.
The Water’s Edge: Because this park sits right on the bay, the water is calm and serene. You won’t find heavy crashing waves here; instead, you get a peaceful, still shoreline that makes for a beautiful, quiet backdrop while you exchange your vows.
2. Cleveland Lighthouse (Cleveland Point Reserve)
If you want “iconic,” this is it. The lighthouse lawn offers 270-degree water views that are hard to beat anywhere in Brisbane.

Why we love it: We find the West Parkside is much quieter and offers a bit more privacy. There is significantly less foot traffic on the beaches here compared to the main areas, making your ceremony feel intimate and personal.

Are you a fan of the maritime lifestyle? If you really love the sight of boat masts and a busy harbor in the background, this is a very pretty and unique spot.
