Aimee and Glenn’s micro-wedding was a simple yet beautiful affair, held on a perfect spring morning at New Farm Park in Brisbane.  The couple chose an intimate occasion creatively brought together by Elope Brisbane and beautifully styled by Miss Weddings. They made the most of the park’s natural beauty with the magnificent tree that served as a backdrop for their ceremony, alongside the iconic rotunda later was used for mingling.

The ceremony itself was so heartfelt and inclusive, with a blessing from the parents and a reading presented by a friend from Dolly Alderton’s book “Everything I Know About Love,”.  They took time to reminisce about their journey and highlighted the everyday moments that they enjoy, like lazy days at home and walks with their beloved dog Dougie and their hopes for the future; laughing more, feeling loved and to starting a family.

Aimee and Glenn shared an intimate moment when exchanging their personal vows – a few tears were had – followed by the rings.  And of course, our celebrant Ketrina Coffey ensured all the legalities were covered. 

And then came that moment when they were introduced as Mr & Mrs!!  Boom!!!  Symbolic, upbeat music was played and confetti thrown.  Click!!  The perfect photo opportunity, skillfully caught by our photographer Romana.

Following the ceremony, some photo’s, bubbles and cake.  (Cakes by Simone).  The guests headed to Blackbird restaurant at Eagle Street for a celebratory lunch.  The Newly-Weds continued with their bridal photos, taking advantage of the rose gardens, Brisbane river, city backdrop and the Powerhouse, until they were whisked away by Buster, Kandid Kombi.

Aimee and Glenn’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that love is about the little moments, about those dear to you and about the joy of being together. It was a day that they, their families, and friends will always remember fondly.  As will we.
