When love & family draw you to a Brisbane elopement

It was stunning Autumn mid-week morning here in Brisbane, with a cool light breeze the birds singing and sun shining and hardly a soul around.  Their very intimate ceremony was held at New Farm Park, under the beautiful fig tree, setting beautifully styled by Miss Weddings, with a backdrop of the city skyline.

The simplicity of the ceremony matched that of the occasion,  shared with a handful of their nearest and dearest.  It was easy-going yet heartfelt, Maggie and Brian held on to every word of the ceremony.    We held a little ring-warming overlooked by their very attentive Grandson, and humorous personal vows were exchanged. The Brides daughters took the role of the witnesses.

They couldn’t have asked for anything more and were thrilled to bits with smiles from ear to ear.  Following the signing they had a little dance down the aisle with their family bopping along behind them.  So much fun! 

Romana, our photographer was thrilled with the lighting that morning, capturing some beautiful family photo’s that are sure to be treasured for a long time to come.  Then off to the Hamilton Hotel for a celebratory lunch… with lots of yummy cup cakes, made lovingly by Cakes by Simone
